My name is Monique van Dijk, and since 2018 I have been happily working as a Consultant at Van de Groep & Olsthoorn.
After completing my VWO and studying Information Management in Amsterdam (at the time part of the programme now within the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences), I started my career as a documentalist. I quickly made the switch to Executive Search. Apart from a stint as an independent entrepreneur in IT, I have always worked within reputable Executive Search firms.
I now have over 20 years of experience in the field and still find great satisfaction in searching for and finding the right candidates for top positions. I started at Van de Groep & Olsthoorn in the search team and currently hold the role of Consultant. In this position, I conduct advisory discussions with our clients and oversee the entire selection process from start to finish.
To find and engage the right candidates, I combine my market knowledge with people skills, intuition, and creativity.
In my free time, I enjoy being in nature for walks or bike rides. I love dancing, yoga, gardening, and regularly visit the gym. Although I moved to the Randstad at eighteen as a native of Brabant, the Burgundian conviviality has always stayed with me!
