My name is Kirsten van de Groep, and as the name suggests, I grew up with the family business Van de Groep & Olsthoorn – founded by my father and now led and expanded by my brother. My background is in Marketing & Communication, a field I contributed to for several years at Van de Groep & Olsthoorn. Later, I gained experience in Office Management and executive support at other organisations. Since December 2020, I’ve come full circle – combining both passions as International Executive Assistant for IESF – International Executive Search Federation. Van de Groep & Olsthoorn is a proud member of this network, with Gertjan van de Groep serving as its Chair.
In my role, I’m responsible for the full scope of IESF activities, including marketing, coordinating meetings, international events and partner development. I really enjoy switching between countries and cultures, travelling for work, and being the connector within this international network. I also love working in English and bringing new ideas to life. Working at IESF and Van de Groep & Olsthoorn is an absolute joy – great colleagues, a beautiful working environment, and the opportunity to collaborate with my brother in such a unique way.
Outside of work, life is just as lively – I’m the proud mother of five sons and we live in the lovely town of Den Dolder. I love being out in the woods with our dog, going for a run or practising yoga. I also enjoy unwinding in the sauna or getting lost in a good book.
