Successful Interim Management Event in Istanbul

Last week, Van de Groep & Olsthoorn was present at the Senior Management Worldwide meeting in Istanbul. At this meeting, the partners of this global group of Interim Management agencies gathered to meet Turkish Executives and to talk as partner agencies about our industry and developments in the market.
Our host and Turkish partner Expertera invited Turkish CEOs to introduce them to Senior Management Worldwide. During a panel discussion, we told more than 40 interested parties about the added value of the Interim Management group for our customers.

Our CEO Gertjan van de Groep spoke about the success that we achieved this year in collaboration with Swiss partner Top 50 Interim. For a Swiss company in natural cosmetics, we mediated an Interim Managing Director for the Dutch division of the company. Our Swiss partner knew this company very well and could accurately explain what candidate they were looking for. We then searched for the right person for this position within our network. Within two weeks, a Managing Director was appointed with more than 10 years of experience in the same field of the Swiss company.
The meeting also promoted the exchange of knowledge between the various partners within the group. During various sessions, we talked about how we can guarantee our quality as individual partners and as a group and how we can serve our customers as quickly and efficiently as possible. We spoke, among other things, about the difference in legislation between countries and how we, as a group, can guide our clients when they establish or acquire divisions abroad.

With 17 partners in Europe, Asia and America, the SMW network has access to a network of over 100,000 interim managers. Over the last 14 years, we have filled over 8,000 interim management positions in more than 40 different countries.
In recent years, the network has been expanded with several quality agencies in places where there was no local presence at first. That is how the Indian agency Confiar was welcomed to the group at the meeting in Istanbul.
