My name is Bert-Jan de Visser, and I am Director of Operations at Van de Groep & Olsthoorn, where I have been working since 2003.<\/p>\n
I spent my student years in Groningen, where I studied General Operational Technology at the HTS and subsequently Technical Business Administration at the University of Groningen. After graduating, I started working at the energy and waste company Essent, an exciting sector where I was involved in setting up a new business unit. During this period, I realised I wanted a setting with more dynamism and entrepreneurship. Combined with my interest in people\u2019s motivations and knowledge of business processes, this led me to join Van de Groep & Olsthoorn, where I developed a passion for the profession and later became a partner. <\/p>\n

Together with my partner Jos\u00e9 and our two children, Timo (2006) and Bastian (2009), I live in a fantastic waterfront location in Naarden. I was born in Zeeland, where being active in and on the water has been part of me from an early age.
