Our client ANABEEB, Arabian Pipeline & Services Co Ltd., is located in Jubail (Saudi Arabia), nearby the Persian Gulf.
Anabeeb, established in 1983, has become one of the most experienced single-source maintenance and support specialists for leading industrials as refineries, (petro-) chemical and steel industries, power/desalination plants.

Anabeeb counts up to 1850 employees, mainly from the far east, and can be characterized as a steady growing company with a strong competitive position in its line of business.
For this client we are currently looking for a Manager Contracts and Estimation Department.
FUNCTIE
The manager will be responsible for the Estimation/ Contract affairs of the Industrial Services and support for executing of contracts. You will arrange competitive bids in accordance with the tenders and realistic project execution plan. The manager will report to the General Manager.
Overview Primary Duties:
• Able to organize and manage the department (12 fte) professionally & effectively;
• Familiar with mechanical aspects related to petrochemical environments;
• To provide support by preparing technical specifications to the project execution department;
• Provide contracts engineering support towards engineering and operational members of Industrial Services to prepare technical specifications and scope of work as required;
• Review and recommend appropriate amendments to all sections of formal bid packages to ensure clarity of requirements from legal, commercial and technical viewpoint;
• Provide contracts engineering support in bid evaluation and be capable of assembling bid data into an easily interpreted computerized spreadsheet;
• Provide contracts engineering support in technical and commercial clarification meetings with prospective tenders;
• Provide contracts engineering support in contract negotiations with prospective clients/ contractors/ suppliers as required;
• Ability to ensure compliance and to perform with constraints of contract terms and conditions with all applicable standards, regulations, and laws where applicable.
Experience Required:
• 5-10 years experience in the Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical industries including 3-5 years in senior position;
• 3-5 years experience in handling, on behalf of major international contractors or clients, the intricacies, subtleties and associated implications in English Language related to the Terms and Conditions of multiple concurrent major international contracts;
• Computer literate, preferred Primavera P3;
• Experience in mechanical/ construction estimation for revamp/ modifications, shutdown works;
• Familiar with internal codes/ ASME standards/ B.S. standards;
• Work experience with ISO 9001-2000 Company.

We are looking for a ”hands-on” candidate (University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred) with work experience preferred in the oil and gas industries or related sectors. You are a team player, communicative and convincing towards colleagues, clients as well as sub-contractors.
Other important competences and skills: strong analytic and negotiating skills, social, autonomous, result driven, persistent, problem solver, strong character, high stress level, diplomatic and willing to work in a multi cultural environment. Fluent English speaker who’s willing to live and work in the far east!
When applying please be aware of the following conditions:
• Gross annual year salary will be paid net (net income because of zero tax rate);
• Monthly salary will be paid partly in Euro’s and partly in SAR’s (Saudi Riyal) against the rate which counts at the moment of being employed;
• Pension: employee is responsible for arranging his own pension;
• Insurance: employer pays local workmen compensation and personal accident coverage. Health insurance is fully covered in KSA and overseas jobsites. You need to insure yourself during leave at your own responsibility;
• Compound/ housekeeping: will be paid by Anabeeb;
• International school: available for kids up to 18 years in Jubail;
• Car: a suitable car will be arranged by the company, no costs are being charged;
• Beside the salary a tax free bonus of approx. one monthly salary will be paid (depending on performance);
• Family: you need to be married. Family can fly in after three or four months. Families have to arrange their own food (eating in the “Al-Ventura” compound restaurant “Al-Ventura” will be charged);
• Air fare: for families, 21 days after six months of service with free flying tickets to home country for the whole family;
• Local (paid) holidays: 8 days a year;
• Leave bachelor status: leave period of 21 days after a four months working period (tickets included);
• Bachelors will not be charged for having breakfast, lunch or diner in the “Al-Ventura”compound restaurant;
• Note that if you are married, possibilities regarding work for your wife are nearly zero;
• For all candidates counts that good social and communication skills, respect for other cultures and a positive attitude in a multinational team (with relatively lower technical educated employees) are required.
